Hey I have an ‘08 4.6 s197 and I just got some new rims they are staggered (18x8) front and (18x9.5) rear. The front rims have a 0 offset and the back rims are a +6 offset I’m trying to figure what size tire I can have without it rubbing can anyone help?

did you check out this thread?

https://www.s197forum.com/threads/wheel-and-tire-fitment-read-here-first.56930/

those offsets are way off the typical S197 set up. They seem off by around 1.25 - 1.35 inches

off hand I don't recall the amount of room between the tire and the fender wall, however, using this calculator:

seems like going to be tough to get a fitment as the tire will be +1.5" further out vs the stock +50mm offset

Those wheels will poke outside the fender quite a lot so I doubt you will be happy with them. Check out the prior links to see what will properly fit for your needs. Typical offsets for that width rim are more like +25-40.

^^^ What JerryZ said unless you are regurgitating specs from someone stating offset differences with respect to factory. Try doing some research and read up on wheel size fitment specs on a local tire store website like discount tire (tire basics section). Then shop and see what the offsets are on various wheels offered for your make and model on sites like BEEFCAKERACING, LMR, CJPONYPARTS, or even heaven forbid AMERICAN MUSCLE. You might amaze yourself and learn something. Oe as mentioned by the head moderator do some searching within this website.

They will be fine but you have to get some of these to make it look right.
