How to seal door sub enclosure.

Howdy folks. I finally installed the new subs in my doors. The only issue being that I had to cut the enclosure to make them fit. What must I do to reseal the enclosure. Also, will issues will I run into if I don't? I have a high and low pass filter going into to the sub if that makes a difference

Photos? What size sub did you squeeze in there? I put a pair of 8" JL in a previous s197, the only thing i had to do was add rings to add depth cuz they were deeper than the Ford units. It's gotta be sealed imo or it won't work. The doors are actually designed to bea sub box which is tuned to the speaker. (It's also part of the crash protection, Ford won a design award for that idea.)
