Ive been running 26 inch MT SR sportsman front runners for 6 years now on my 06 GT and want to swap to a 27 or 28. I am way TOO low to the ground. Driveways and speedbumps are a nightmare. I know the taller tire will slow my RT by .01 or so and that is fine. I know 27 inch fits but dont really know if 28s will as im lowered a half inch on FR P springs. I run Weld RTS wheels in 15s.

If you increase from 26" to 27", your radius increased by only 1/2". 26" to 28" is a 1" increase in radius.
IE: that fender gap will decrease by 1/2" to 1". Will 27" / 28" tires fit those 15" welds ? If so, and it clears, the sidewalls would be huge.

Can u post a pix from the side ? Maybe put a tape measure / ruler in the pix. With suspension loaded a bit, will the treads still be inside the wheel well ? If the treads end up inside the wheel well, and the sidewalls end up past the well, it should still be ok. How stiff is the front suspension ?

I appreciate all the input by you OG members. I recognize those names. Looks like I'm going with this tire as its available early August and all the others are not or were discontinued. Its 27" tall so fitment wont be an issue and it wont look weird like a 28 might. Side view pic. Plenty of room there.
