Sports Mode Not Working Properly

I have a 2014 Mustang with CVT transmission. I usually put it in sportsmode so I can shift. Recently, it stopped letting me downshift thought shifting up is not a problem.

Not sure what the problem is. Has anyone experienced this and what is the resolution?

There was no cvt in a mustang.
No CEL, Id start looking at the downshift switch.

Yeah there’s not CVT on these cars. Seems like an electrical issue if the button isn’t communicating to the transmission to downshift.
