I have on my computer a Web Site that host well over a 1000 Mustangs for sale. It has over 173 pages of Mustangs with 20 cars per page. (I thought of the site when the gentleman wanted to post his car for sale on our forum). You can refine your search by price, location, type, etc. I got through 50 pages of cars and finally narrowed my search to convertibles from 2005 to 2016.

I did this for several reasons. First, I'm still trying to determine if my 2008 GT/CS is a Deluxe or a Premium. I'm not even sure which is the higher grade car as I looked in depth at each car the accessories are all different (per the buyer's choices). My car has the GPS/ Navigation system and I found that on very few other GT's.

I only found three other GT/CS convertibles two white, one black.
There were two 2006 Mint Green convertibles. I'm Guessing it was only that year color.

This is what I've come up with so far:

GT
GT Premium
GT Deluxe
V6
v6 Standard (only found on 2006)
EcoBoost (2010 & newer?) Is EcoBoost still a V6? or a V8 with lower HP?

I'll be glad to post the Web site if anyone is interested,

I forgot to add, all these vehicles are listed by car dealers and no private sales. Thus, has limited exposure.

Isn't there somewhere where you can run the VIN to see if it's a deluxe or premium?

Lotta dead giveaways on the interior. 4 or 6 gauge cluster, satin trim AC vents and steering wheel trim, dash trim satin vs flat black.
Most deluxe have manual seats and cloth, not all. Use the above satin indicators first

Here ya go RetDrumSgt...............

Provided below is a copy of a 2009 MY Mustang Buyer's Guide I found while messing around a few yrs back. Even though it's a 2009 MY guide, what you find in it will pretty much be the same for 2008 MY.

Gives all Ford's code for buyer's choices so what you want to know about your '08 GT\CS vert's base model & options availability as originally ordered in '08 is in it.

Just check the VI label in DS door jam for all of Ford's specific coding then look it up.

Hope this helps.

Thanks everyone, Glasstop09, if your information doesn't help I don't know what will.

That's what so confusing. My car doesn't have the color light options, doesn't have the six gage package but does have the dummy plug where you could convert all the gages. My car has the headed electric seats. It had (has) a GP/Navigation system, six CD player. It has the rugs with the Mustang emblems.

I printed out Glasstop09, 2009 list and will compare it with the information on the car sticker. As a result of the post from Macman45 & Skwerl I went back to the site and narrowed the search to Deluxe. The dash is the giveaway. It's all plastic material with limited chrome. So, despite some of the accessories it is a Deluxe model.

A few hours ago I had accepted that my car was a Deluxe. Then I came across a document. In it, was a statement that GT/CS only came out as a premium in 2008. But later in the same article it stated Ford sales projections for the various Mustangs included 5 percent GT/CS Deluxe and 8 percent Premium GT/CS. So, evens Ford's announcement is confusing.

A Marty Report would tell you everything you need to know. I wasn’t sure which model I had because it had some definite Deluxe options but also has some premium features such as leather seats, My Color cluster with six gauge cluster. According to my Marty Report, you could by a deluxe and line item some of the premium features.
