With it being a 2024 model, does that mean my 2005 is now 19 years old?

Yeah, I like that front. Reminds me of the '68 GT 500 a bit.
But...
I hope Ford hasn't forgotten the lessons learned from the ST-16.

Hearing lots of talk about a naturally aspirated 500 HP Coyote with twin throttle bodies and twin air boxes.
Pretty sure there will be a DCT option with the Coyote.

Huge crowd here in Hart Plaza downtown Detroit waiting for the reveal. A thousand Mustangs gathered at Ford WHQ and then we drove to downtown

Thats awful.. like someone wanted a Ford version of the Ram head logo.. the car itself isn’t bad, still not topping the 05-09 cars though..

EDIT: Hate the rear lights, they look squished and the huge screen inside is an instant no from me. Not a fan.

We all knew that there would be a big screen-too bad they probably won't let those of us who prefer a more analog experience to opt out without giving up all the good performance goodies.

The GT has 480+ HP, and the Dark-Horse edition has 500+HP. Both are naturally aspirated, and have dual CAI’s.

There’s a lot of information here…

That's the new logo for the Dark Horse model. I think Ford could have just kept the galloping pony on the grille but in black rather than chrome.
IMO the front end styling of the S650 is sharper than the S550, and I like the fact that it no longer looks like an angry ninja warrior. The rear looks great as it does on the S550, and I'm glad Ford retained the signature vertical tri-bar taillights.
I didn't like the S550 enough to buy it because of the front end styling, but the S650 does tempt me. However the only model I'd consider is the street legal Dark Horse with an estimated 500hp/425lbft. I like the upgrades that were performed on the 5.0 Coyote with the adoption of the GT500 forged connecting rods, dual throttle bodies, and dual intakes. It should pull strongly all the way to 7500rpm.
It has all the makings of a great muscle car, but don't expect an analog experience because this is from the digital era. I definitely wouldn't sell my 3V GT 'cause that does give me the more raw, analog experience that I want so if I ever buy a Dark Horse, I'd keep both in my stable.

Love the way the Dark Horse model looks and love the specs. Certainly the Tremec helps.

Great. Now when I look at that front end all I see is Camaro. And then the bloated look of a charger.

Funny, I don't see Slowaro in the front end, I see it in the rear end look.
