View attachment 84202 New Mustang logo. I don’t like it.
I saw someone call it the Demonic Antelope .

Thats awful.. like someone wanted a Ford version of the Ram head logo.. the car itself isn’t bad, still not topping the 05-09 cars though..

EDIT: Hate the rear lights, they look squished and the huge screen inside is an instant no from me. Not a fan.

I'm OK with the Tail light but I can see your point. I agree, the interior is lost on me too. First it looks too driver centered, more Corvette inspired less Mustang. Don't get me wrong, the gauged pod was always driver specific but the over all lay out included the passenger, a sort of CO-Pilot feel. Front passenger looks cut out of the equation. And those headlights could be from any modern car. nothing special.

I admit that the last few gens I did not like so much until I saw then in person BUT there are design feature here that just don't speak Mustang to me. the swooped up rear and the complete loss of any side scallop leave it feeling more Camaro than Mustang.

Just My Opinion, not trying to be a hater. :)

I think it's the headlights that are not working for me.
YEP! Raxiom has their work cut out for them. LOL

The S550 never grew on me, it looked too much like a G35 and a 4th gen catfish camaro.
I like what I see from the S650 so far but I'll have to see the back end in real life as it looks like a tree landed on the trunk and squished it in some of the photos.

When the fox debuted, it literally bore no resemblance to any previous Mustang. The loss of the side scallop detail could have been a nod to the foxbodies, and to me the dash really looks like a modern take on a Mustang II or an early fox. I think it looks great! Rearend not so sure.....but then again I didn't like the s550 rear at first either.

Great. Now when I look at that front end all I see is Camaro. And then the bloated look of a charger.

Also the rear, and the lower center dash, esp the HVAC vents. So Camaro, it makes me ill. Also that boxy airbag cap on steering wheel is terrible. Love the new toys, but very disappointed in the design. Hopefully this mistake doesn't drive sales down to the a point where they justify the end. Come on mid-cycle refresh!

I thought the exact same thing about the center stack.

My Favorite Modern Stang
There was something beautiful about the simplicity of this.

One of the options with the new electronic dash they said was that you could opt to set it up to look like the fox body dash.

Is that Dark Horse logo confirmed for production? Ford's marketing is screwed up...
They put the Mustang running horse logo on an SUV, then they change the sports car to a different horsehead/horseshoe logo! It DOESN'T MAKE SENSE!!

That's only on the Dark Horse, to differentiate it.
I think they should've just called it the Mach 1 again.
Dark Horse is stupid, especially when you can get it in white lol

When the S550 was released, I was unimpressed w/its appearance. Made me think a Fusion mated w/a BMW, like an amorphous blob, a goldfish w/a yawning front end opening. It grew on me but I never fell in love w/it, even my former '19 Bullitt.

When this one was released in the Ford intro the other night (and what a terrible show they put on, IMHO,) I immediately thought to myself, "Why are they putting a Camaro on the floor?" thinking perhaps they rolled one out to offer as a comparison. Then I thought, "that doesn't make sense for a preview."

I can see lines of the Camaro and Charger in this car. Perhaps it's an homage by Ford since both the Camaro, Challenger/Charger are all leaving us in short order and Ford thought they might be able to capture a slice of each and attract those buyers. Time will tell, I guess.

I'm on the fence until I see an S650 live. But from what I've seen so far, it's not for me. I'm an analog guy living in a digital world. At 62, I don't want all that tech. I find it absolutely abhorrent that Ford abandoned the dual cockpit, a longtime signature of the Stang, in favor of that enormous glass screen. Clearly, they didn't build this car for my age/generation. I'll take the simplicity of a traditional pod set-up over that electronic tomfoolery every day. Frankly, I never got use to it in my '19 Bullitt and my '08 Bullitt's dash is so much more basic, simple while still fulfilling all my informational needs.

I'm guessing when it's time for my Bullitt to go, I'll shop for another '09 GT500 (if I can find one), or perhaps a '13 Boss or '13/14 GT500. Maybe even a base 2021/22 Mach 1 and call it a day. But by then gas will likely be $9 a gallon anyway and we won't be able to afford to drive them.
