how often do you grease your polyurethane bushings?

I installed some aftermarket control arms a few years ago. Directions said "Grease your control arm bushings 2-3 times a year adding only 1 pump of grease, DO NOT OVER GREASE."
I've had problems with noise greasing at that interval. How often do you lube your polyurethane?

No matter how much I greased my rear sway bar, the squeaks returned. I stopped greasing them. Now they have some play, but make no noise anymore.

Thanks, Juice. Part of my problem is the low quality grease fittings now-a-days. The car is noticeably quieter since a local shop installed some new fittings and pumped the bushings full of grease.

Thanks, Laga. Ima have to try that. I had used the SuperLube teflon, but maybe I didn't use enough or often enough.

In the heavy equipment world we usually grease joints weekly. Sometimes every 8 engine hours depending on the stress the joints are under.

1st set of LCA's I put on my car, I forgot to grease them for awhile and later found out the holes in the bushings had gotten all wallowed out. Whoops

I don't put many miles on my car anymore so my greasing interval is extended but I try to do it about every 5000 miles or so (which with my car is usually 2 years)

maybe add greasing the suspension joints at each oil change? I don't know how much you drive your car. I guess even as much as I drive, that's only 3 times a year.

There's not that many, and as long as you have it up in the air (if you have a lift that is), it's super easy to hit them all.

I use the Energy suspension Formula 5 stuff for my LCA urethane bushings. This is PTFE filled silicon grease and the most sticky grease I have seen so far, disgusting ;) But, must use it only once a year or less.

Thanks. I started with Superlube PTFE. When I ran out of that, I tried Lucas marine grease. I think maybe I had some really bad grease fittings. I had some that I would pump in grease, and it would shoot back out as soon as I removed the gun. Replaced those and had other bad/weird results.
