Fixing to order head studs for my setup…16lbs boost hoping for 650hp…what do I need to be looking at? Seen the ARP 2000 set but no clue what I’m looking at. Cars a 2006…saw ad for 2007-2010 I think, are there different ones? Best place to get them? Not really interested in doing business with MMR anymore but $399 there.

I’m using the ARP 2000 stud set on my 2010 3 valve. I chose the set with 12 point nuts and followed ARPs torque instructions. No problems with 18lbs boost and stock type MLS gaskets.

Don't bother with the older ARP 8740 studs, they have had problems. If you do studs, do the ARP 2000's.

I use the stock TTY bolts with 18 lbs and stock gaskets. I lost a piston due to bad fuel and the head gaskets and bolts held.
Ford used TTY hardware on their aluminator motors and rates them for over a grand at the tires.

You can go directly to ARPs web sight and see what kits they have for the block you are using. There are both bolt and stud kits available. I’m running ARP 2000 studs on my mains and side bolts as well and the Manley rod set I purchased came with ARP bolts. They have their own torque specification and are not TTY. No complaints with the quality of the ARP products I have purchased.
