I’ve got my motor built a tad bit but wondering which would be the overall best for what I’m paying for. Twin turbo or supercharger excluding Whipple. I have a boss 302 intake with 85mm tb.
What else should I be thinking about upgrading before I boost.
What heads should I be leaning towards if I want to push 700-800 hp. What pistons? What injectors?

What fuel are you going to use?

what’s the budget?

you’ll need to strengthen the drive line, trans, DS, rear end

^^^Yep^^^

Don't f--k it up w/ all that added power to the ground & then blow things off driveline. Are you doing the work yourself, or shop?

What is your issue with a Whipple? I think it is superior to the edelbrock or Kenne bell. And there is always the roush tvs.

He is (I'm assuming here) looking for a centrifugal style super charger instead of a roots or tvs to keep his intake on there probably. I am poking around at the same thing right now so i can keep my Boss intake on my car.

Well it seems a little silly to let an intake determine which kind of SC you go with. I would think one would be more concerned with the power band and where I want to make gains. I make peak torque around 3200 rpms and the curve stays pretty darn flat almost up to red line. That's a huge usable power band, don't have to rev it up there to make power. It does take a little throttle modulation due to having so much torque down low but for me it is more usable power for the type of driving I do. I think one would make a better decision based on driving style and needs rather than having it dictated by what intake I want to run. Seems kinda backwards. I understand that one spent money on the intake but it shouldn't be a deciding factor. You can recoup much of the intake by selling it. I think you would get a better return on your investment if you get what you need instead of what fits.

Go supercharger if you want an easier car to maintain, you'll definitely spend more time under the hood of a turbo car.

Supercharger newbie question. I was looking at Kenne Bell stage 1. I have a stock rotating assembly, JLT Series 3 cold air, Steeda underdrive pulleys, JBA long tubes, catless, Exedy stage 1 clutch, Ford racing 4:10's, and a Lito tune. Will I notice a big difference with the KB stage 1 w/stock throttle body at 9psi boost?

I installed my Edelbrock SC 5 years ago. I still remember the first time I went WOT.

Just remember if you go with a blower to return your underdrive pulleys to stock, or get a smaller blower pulley than what comes with the kit. If your worried about accessory drag on the motor get an electric water pump.

I disagree. I've had both. Actually had a nitrous car too. The SC car was the least enjoyable. Seemed to have constant IA cooling issues. The instant hit was nice. But not instantly repeatable. Heat soak killed it. Nitrous was fun. But too limited. Empty bottles suck. I like my single turbo. Power hits exactly how I like. And I can adjust pressure on the fly.

The under drive pully set crossed my mind as well; glad I kept the old pullies. Thanks for that.

I was not a big fan of all the room a centrifugal took under the hood, and was not sure of the spool up time. With the 4.10s I have a lot of 'off the line' torque, but lack HP in the upper RPM range. Sooooo, maybe a centrifugal would work for me. Was your SC water cooled?

That all depends on boost used, and HE used, and local WX temps. On a stock bottom end, 9 psi is about the limit anyways. And 5-7 psi will still provides globs of instant TQ. What year is the car ??

4.10s and a centri are good combo, IMO/IME, my 06GT had that set up and it worked well for me.
