@pass1over Can, you share a little more on how you remolded the sub pockets? I had to use a much thicker spacer on mine, but if it's not too hard to reshape or redo the backs so I can use a thinner spacer on the front I would prefer that. Thanks!

I don't have any pictures of it, but I'll explain it the best I can.

I put the door panel horizontal on like sawhorses. I put my subwoofer that I was going to use in the pocket. I stacked a couple of 10 lb barbell weights on top. I think it totaled about 20 to 25 lb.

I then used a heat gun on the bottom to slowly heat up the plastic. You got to do it evenly, and you'll slowly start seeing the subwoofer sink down. Do it in a few steps, don't try to do it all at once. I kept doing it till subwoofer flange was basically sitting on the door panel. Then I knew if I added a quarter inch spacer that would be room behind the magnet.

I didn't check while I was doing it, but I got lucky. I think one of the pockets ended up being really really close to the window track I believe it was, so pay attention to that as well.

Just take your time and go slow. I didn't want a huge spacer there either and have it sticking out a bunch.

That's a good explanation. I kind of wondered how much I need to worry about clearance for other things like the window track. Thanks!

I might of put a weight in first, and then the sub on top of it to protect it from the heat. Don't know if it's necessary, but I think that's what I did
