I have priced a few things. I'm not going to do headers because I really want to get the ecoboost twin turbos from F150 or SHO. I am going to upgrade the the clutch and get a Barton shifter. The 07 already had a Pypes off road dual exhaust so I will use that for now. I am also looking into getting a "tuner" so I can play with that. Might need one just to make it run! I also have a 3.73 ring and pinion so i will swap the gears and replace the pinion seal and maybe the clutches in the rear before I install it.Any plans for headers or other performance mods?
The offroad pipe is going to be a CEL issue. You are going to a Copperhead PCM, a tad more complex than the ole' 4.0.I have priced a few things. the 12 has sequential turn signals and a little "computer" to make that work. I was able to mount the 12 module in a factory location. My guess is the LED bulbs draw less amps so I will have to use LED bulbs. If I was an "electrician" I might try splicing the wiring but nothing is color coded the same on the two tail light harnesses. I think adapting the 12 bulbs into the 07 housing will be easier (for me anyway).Shouldn't be too difficult to splice together a hybrid '12/'07 tail light harness to allow you to plug the older housings into the newer main harness. Did the '11-'12 cars come with sequential rear signals or was that just the '13-'14s? That could make it a bit trickier but still doable, I would think.
