i may be getting a paxton "tuner" kit for dead cheap but need to know what else i need.

i know:
injectors
handheld
MAF?
MAFia?
FPDM?
fuel pump?

i have a diablosport handheld and i can aquire a set of 39# injectors for free, so what else would i need for this paxton kit?
1001851-1=novi 1200 non intercooled
its the 1200 kit basic. its been sitting on a self of a local speed shop and they want to get rid of it, i have been tooling with the idea for a little and just need to know what else i need to pickup.

i dont need it to be the fastest thing on earth, just a little more power. and i am not greedy when it comes to power so i wont be upgrading from when its done. i want a solid power gain but keep some reliability. any information would be greatly appreciated.

The only things you need are, Tune, BAP, 39lb injectors, and maybe a Mafia. You want know that until you go to get it tuned.

^ thank you

instead of a BAP could i just stuff a 255lph pump in there and get away with that?

i have the 39# injectors, would i really need a MAFia? is that just a safety measure or will it probably save me a headache?

kit will be right at 1900 with no install, but i can easily do the install myself. then get a base tune and drive it to a dyno.

i know the non intercooled will not make as much power but i really dont need anything more. i was hoping for about 380rwhp with it fully tuned and everything, is that achieveable?(spell check?)

could it produce more? i just dont want to push the stock longblock. ive seen people on here push almost 500rwhp but if everything isnt intercooled or whatever then you could have a problem.

so for me 380rwhp without buying expensive heads/blower cams seems pretty good. i can also at a later time upgrade to NSR cams to gain a little more power.

Did not want to leave it at maybe so I used the search function and this was one of the first things I found.. Dont beat me up if incorrect

I have full exhaust, comp cams (127300), delete plates, CAI and a tune and i put down 358/350. Fastest i have ran has been 12.58 spinning through 1st. This is with stock 3.55's. I need to get off my lazy ass and install my gears, lca and whatever else i have laying in my garage. Its a fun DD that i take to the track once a month.

i dont want to buy cylinder heads. its too much work for me and its my DD also until the lightning is up and running. so without diving too far into the motor(cams would be it) i think the 380-420rwhp range seems to be ideal for this blower kit.

i am still confused on the pump issue, do i need a BAP or can i get a 255lph pump and stick it into the stock assembly?

and will i need the MAFia?

i believe you can safely make over 400 rwhp with that blower setup non ic ! i have the same blower with 127200 cams . i just installed the blower a couple weeks ago . man does it move now !! i ran a 12.2 n/a before the blower. so the car was no slouch before it . but i am working on a custom air to air intercooler . something you might want to think about . but thats a great price! if your not looking to drag race all the time i think you will be very happy with it . im going to try to make it to the track once non ic.
then after the a2a and mafia and pulley change .:thumb:

no you wont need the mafia, only if you push more boost or ic it . the complete non ic paxton kit doesnt come with one . and my tuner says everything looks great !

I say ask him to lower his price some more since "its been sitting on a self of a local speed shop and they want to get rid of it". It would be a real bargain at 1400 :)

if i can get it for 1400 and add injectors/BAP/MAFia/TUNE i think it would equate to around 400rwhp which would be more than enough and for a great price.

thanks guys!
i think ill be bargaining with him today and possibly picking it up!!! ill let everyone know.

You cannot do a 255 in tank, Those pumps are not made for a non return style system. You could do a GT (supercar) pump, Though they dont seem to support what a stock pump and a BAP will.

The Mafia is a maybe but i dont think you would need one.

380rwhp is very easy to get with that kit. All the ones i have done here make about 420ish rwhp with very safe tunes.

I also returned your pm :)

I would be stoked at 1400 :) If you have a manual start planning for a new clutch at some point.
