    Another "sneaky" coolant leak thread

Hey just curious but what size is the hose where it attaches to the plastic elbow?

Can an Explorer 4.6 3V coolant crossover be made to work on our engine?

So another question, does anyone know offhand what size the bottom nipple coming out of the crossover is so I can figure out what size I should tap it for?

Can an Explorer 4.6 3V coolant crossover be made to work on our engine?

Does anyone know why Tasca shows two different part numbers for the upper hose when they both look the same?

WTB 05-09 Front seat belt buckles

Not sure how to close this post but I bought the buckles from Macman.

Can an Explorer 4.6 3V coolant crossover be made to work on our engine?

Not sure, I saw a different very grungy looking Explorer one also on ebay with a lot of oxidation on it. Maybe depends on environment, I don't know.

Can an Explorer 4.6 3V coolant crossover be made to work on our engine?

Yeah they are pricey for sure. Well, I'm gonna give this one a try for only $47.

Can an Explorer 4.6 3V coolant crossover be made to work on our engine?

Ah I see now the Mustang crossover also doesn't have that nipple on the passenger side...maybe that is just a little too different.

Can an Explorer 4.6 3V coolant crossover be made to work on our engine?

I found an 06-08 Explorer 4.6 3V coolant crossover for sale for cheap (compared to what the Mustang ones go for), have been thinking about this as I'm pretty sure my car still has the original radiator hoses on it and time may come that I have to change them out. The Explorer one looks almost...

S550- 6 piston Brembos on 05-14 GT Guide (affordable)

As a side benefit it will also keep oil off your rotor if you blow a strut- I found that out firsthand.

Best shock strut combo for lowered car?

I don't know if there's such a thing as a "good" ride on one of these...I have had BMR's springs for several years, and they do ride better than the Motorsport P springs I had on it before, it's still a rough ride- but then again our roads are also terrible. Have your trimmed your rear bump...

What have you done to your mustang today?

Thanks for the link! Ordered a few things I need.

Is an 8 year old serpentine belt still good?

I have a Motorcraft serpentine belt that I bought approximately 7-8 years ago (date on the packaging is 2017), it's been hanging up in my garage this whole time in a spot where sunlight never hits it. Any chance this belt is still OK to use?

What have you done to your mustang today?

Put some Pedders adjustable end links on my swaybar. Hoping this will fix the clunk I get on hard right turns. Not sure if my pic works or not?

WTB 05-09 Front seat belt buckles

Working on a seat swap for my car and I need a spare set of front buckles with good harness plugs on them. If you have the bolts for them that might be useful too but not a necessity.

Swapping X pipe for H pipe

You just cannot beat the sound of the H pipe in my opinion. This is my car with JBA longtubes, catted shorty H, and 07-09 GT500 mufflers. Classic mustang sound if I ever heard it, I just love listening to it!

Swapping X pipe for H pipe

You can hear the difference between and H pipe and X pipe on these things. I've had both. It doesn't sound bad either way but you can hear the slightly higher pitch with the X pipe.

What have you done to your mustang today?

Wow. That thing was $860-ish when I bought mine. Found some random place selling one on ebay for $660. I had everything out to do the clutch so I figured it was a good time to do a driveshaft too, especially since the stocker had 100k on it.

What have you done to your mustang today?

I just looked that up, that's a good price! I only paid a little less for my DSS 1 piece on ebay and that was 6 years ago!

What have you done to your mustang today?

Well, good news is that taillight was actually an easy fix. Was able to super glue the broken piece in place and you can only tell it was broken if you look up close. Can't argue with a working set of Vector V2's for $95. Bad news is I jacked up the car to change the oil and I have a blown...

What have you done to your mustang today?

OK so earlier this year, my original Raxiom Vector taillights kinda kicked the bucket (the sequential on the passenger light stopped working so it didn't light up when I braked, had to swap them out) I had really wanted the Vector V2's but didn't want to pay $400 for them. I found a salvage...

    Rain Leak Into Cabin

Hopefully not! This was what happened to mine. Fortunately it was mostly in a flat section of floor and was not overly difficult to fix. https://www.s197forum.com/threads/i-got-2-holes-rusted-through-my-drivers-side-floorpan.138781/
