    2006 Mustang GT - Front Struts/Springs

I've never had problems with them either.... I was just inquiring in a couple other brands because I feel the sportier cars require a little bit sportier suspension and I wasn't sure on some of the brands that are out there. I see their names a lot but that could just be advertisement. I was...

    2006 Mustang GT - Front Struts/Springs

Basically..... I've used Monroe for most of my life.... I was looking for other comparable brands such as KYB and Gabriel, etc... if people have had luck or experience, etc. And yes, I'm looking for the assembled ones that I don't have to mess with. I had a close call once. That was enough

    2006 Mustang GT - Front Struts/Springs

My car currently has Strange adjustables in the rear which are rather stiff right now. I may dial them down a notch or two. It also has a rear shock tower brace

    2006 Mustang GT - Front Struts/Springs

Just looking to replace the ones that are in there. Nothing race or dragstrip. I've usually always used Monroe. I'm inquiring about the quality of other brands such as Gabriel or KYB or similar without going to Koni or Bilstein expense

    2006 Mustang GT - Front Struts/Springs

It seems I have to replace my front struts/springs on my 2006 GT. 99k miles and still originals. I usually tend to stick to Monroe as I've had good luck but since my car already has Strange adjustables in the rear, should I go more performance for the front? It's not lowered at all and I'll be...

2006 GT - A Little Clunky Between Gears

There is slight play everywhere, but the worst is the tailshaft of the transmission. When I twist the driveshaft I can hear it in the aluminum casing of the transmission... mechanic did say it's kind of common with these but to keep listening to it to see if it gets worse

2006 GT - A Little Clunky Between Gears

Although I know how to drive manual transmissions, until I bought this 2006 Mustang gt, I had not driven a manual in over 20 years. I'm fairly mechanically inclined but manual transmissions are not in that wheelhouse

2006 GT - A Little Clunky Between Gears

I've been noticing lately that my Mustang has a weird ca-chunk or clunk noise after shifting either up or down. It doesn't stay continuous and it doesn't sound like grinding in any way. Just a slight clunk what I would normally associate with a bad u-joint or rear-end gears getting sloppy. It's...

2006 Mustang GT Manual Trans - Gears/shifting Issues

It already has a Hurst shifter in it. We ordered the bushing kit for that

2006 Mustang GT Manual Trans - Gears/shifting Issues

My mechanic just called me this morning and confirmed that both bushings on the shifter were toast. That would explain the sloppy shifting for the last couple days and then it completely going out

2006 Mustang GT Manual Trans - Gears/shifting Issues

I just went down to check on the car. The shifter is complete slap and I can lift it up and slam it down inside the car so it feels like it's not even connected to the transmission

2006 Mustang GT Manual Trans - Gears/shifting Issues

Well.... my bad luck with "New-To-Me" cars continues... (long story there) The last 2-3 days it was hard to find 3rd gear. Like the slot for the shifter to go into wasn't there. After futzing a few times I finally would get it to go. Earlier today, I unplugged the wire to a fuel injector to see...
