    Power steering?

I also got mine from eBay. I did not use a controller though, I got a wiring harness and tapped in to the communication wires on the stock computer. The rack works like normal, very light when going slow and resistance increases as speed goes up.

    Power steering?

Second vote for EPAS swap. Best thing I ever did to my 07.

Might be go big or go home time on my '06

Man, it looks like they did a really good job on that repair. It makes me happy to see folks that stand behind their work and own up to mistakes.

    4.10 Gear pattern check

I just rebuilt the IRS in my coyote swapped SN95. Went from the cobra diff to a truetrac. Everything went smooth and it works great on slicks at the track. Hooks up awesome and power delivery is perfect side to side. The only complaint is, under certain conditions like light throttle...

PROOF THAT I'M NOT AN A-HOLE. (All the time)

What about just scuffing the plastic area with scotchbrite and spraying it with SEM trim paint?

Those are 6mm thread bolts. 96 INCH lbs, not foot lbs. In other words, snug.

I don’t have Facebook, but I’d be interested in one of those.

Motor mount removal, can get engine mount to move

Are you sure you’ve got all the bolts out? These mounts come off pretty easy. The two nuts holding the brackets down on the mounts on the k member, then the bolts holding the brackets to the block. Could you post some pictures of what you’ve got going on?

    Oil Drain Back???

This happened on my old 2v, and it was because when the chain guides failed, the debris clogged up the pickup tube screen.

    For the Oil Pump???

Not really, the rear bracket can be bent down enough to clear the oil pump and not be an issue. Not ideal, but it works.

    For the Oil Pump???

I seem to remember being able to hold the bolt up with one finger and get it started with another finger on the same hand. It’s nerve racking.

    Volume or Pressure???

I’m pretty positive the 2, 3, and 4 valves all had the same tensioner bolts. You could get a generic arp bolt that is the correct thread and length and give that a shot.

    For the Oil Pump???

I don’t think you’re going to be able to rotate the tube. It would bend the mounting bracket (not a big deal), but I don’t think pump is going rotate in the necessary direction to make that bolt accessible. I’ve used a flex head ratchet wrench before, it’s a real pain in the butt.

    Volume or Pressure???

Holy crap! I’ve never seen that! I’ve probably done 50 timing chain jobs on modulars and I’ve never seen that.

    Volume or Pressure???

Oh man, missed a bullet right there. This thread has me about to order parts and do the guides in my 07. It’s got 220k miles and it just now started to give a quick rattle on start up, just every now and then.

    Dual Inlet Catch Can w/Breather

I used a motion raceworks catch can, but they aren’t cheap. Very nice design though.

Tuning and LTFT (Long Term Fuel Trims)

Let’s approach this from a different angle please. Can you post your mods exactly? Boost levels, maf location, compression ratio, what cams, and so on. Then if you don’t mind, post what info Lito asked for and what you sent him. What is he saying he needs that you didn’t give him already...

    Cooling fan failure

When I got my 07, the fan would only work on high speed. I found the terminal in the fuse box was melted. This was in a bone stock car, the lady I got it from bought it brand new, she was the only owner. I pulled the wires from the bottom of the stock fuse box and sent them to a leash...

    Coyote Swap Problem F150

Or maybe it is different and it’s just not enough to really see it.

    Coyote Swap Problem F150

Ok, so now I’m wondering if that isn’t just a fill amount difference instead of an actual pan difference. The coyote holds a ton of oil in the head at high rpm. I’m kind of thinking the extra oil in the mustang is just for the higher rpm.

    Coyote Swap Problem F150

Where did you see the capacity difference? I installed my engine with the f150 pan, and later put a Mustang pan in and they were identical.

    Coyote Swap Problem F150

See, now that’s a problem. The truck engines are half a point of compression lower than the Mustang, not a big deal. The cam profiles are different, in the sense that they make more horsepower higher in rpm but the truck cams make a lot more mid range torque. Install Mustang cams and a gen 3...

    Coyote Swap Problem F150

I did not know that was your site, I remember coming across that at some point and saving the link. Really good info in there. With the oil filter deal, the block between mustang and f150 is the same. Why relocate the filter instead of using a mustang filter housing?
