best place to add water temp sending unit for aftermarket gauge?

I have the new version crossover pipe on a '05. The driver's side of the crossover that is on my engine has a threaded plug. The prior owner installed the cross-over, removed the plug and installed the Autometer sender and gauge. One wire through the firewall to the gauge. Look closely at the...

Eibach Camber Bolts added. Shop was able to squeeze out -2.0 of camber. New Nankang AR-1s mounted to the SVE wheels in prep for September VIR trip. It will be nice to have a little bit of grip compared to the overwhelmed 280tw Advan Apex donuts.

    Camber & Stock Strut Mounts

FWIW, my alignment shop got -2.5 from the Eibach camber bolts. No modification was necessary. I have the FRPP M-FR3A-MGTAA Handling Pack with 1" lowering springs and Dynamic Suspension Adjustable Front Struts (made by Tokico).

Trailer Hitch on an 05-09 GT/CS and Shelby

Now that the wiring install is complete, here is what worked for me. As most know, early s197s use a low voltage system for the brake/turn/parking lights. I bought the Tekonsha ModuLite® HD Plus Protector w/Integrated Circuit & Overload Protection Trailer Light Power Module Part #119190kit...

best place to add water temp sending unit for aftermarket gauge?

I'm sorry for the poor picture, I should have looked more closely. Yes it is. I have an Autometer 100-250 Water Temp Gauge wired directly to that point. Kit came with sender. It will read lower than the temp that comes from the stock sender because the stock sender is located on the passenger...

    My 2005 GT Build Thread

Purchased from second owner who was preparing the car for Autocross/Track Duty. It will be used primarily as a track car. All mods were done by the PO except for the brake and seat upgrades so I can't take any credit for the vast majority of the work. Here is the good, the bad, and the ugly...

Hello, my name is Marc and I am a trackaholic

Long story short, I just acquired an '05 GT that was being prepared for track/street use by the PO. Will post the particulars of the car and build in that forum. My first American Iron track car after driving one of the German marques for the last 21 years. Looking forward to reading and...
