2009 GT manual is hard to shift...

It's an Exedy Mach 500. I'll contact Exedy and see if they can assist in diagnosis.

2009 GT manual is hard to shift...

Thanks! If shims are needed, what do I use? Is it something I should order in advance?

2009 GT manual is hard to shift...

My wife and I are trying to visit as many national parks as we can. So the main purpose of the trip is to visit the 3 national parks in Florida, but we'll also get a day at Disneyworld, and a day at the Kennedy space center. We'll be driving from South Carolina to Tampa, then Key West, then...

2009 GT manual is hard to shift...

I will get the car on the lift, hopefully this weekend to check this. I'll also inspect the master cylinder. I think I have replaced it in the past, but I can't remember. It would be such a quality of life improvement to get this fixed! I am planning to drive the car on a vacation to Florida in...

2009 GT manual is hard to shift...

I'm sure this has been discussed so much but figured I'd get you guy's thoughts. The car has 167k miles on it. It has a Exedy Mach 500 clutch in it. It's hard to shift when moving. If I'm sitting still, it will shift in and out of gear pretty easily, but when moving and trying to change gears...

I want to make my car a little quieter...

My car currently has a set of Ford Racing/Borla mufflers with long tube headers, no cats or anything else. I've enjoyed it for the last few years, but I'd like to make it a little quieter. Would mid mounted resonators/mufflers make it significantly quieter? Will they even fit? The car is...

    TR6060 pricing/swap

Bringing this thread back from the dead... I ended up never getting a TR6060, as other projects came up. I am now looking again, and have a few more questions. I have found someone that is doing an auto swap, and may be interested in selling me his TR6060. Its from a 2010, so it has the .63...

Advice for Hot Rod Cams with a good spring set?

I'd recommend getting the tool, and getting a good brand at that. I got a knock off from amazon when I did mine and the tool was garbage. Ended up having to get the OTC branded one, and it worked as it should.

    New from Williamston, SC

I don't know of any personally. I occasionally ride up to ceasers head or the parkway.

I'm sure they would. You can get them pretty cheap from rock auto/summit/ebay

I'd order from rock auto or anywhere other than a dealer...

    Engine Noise

Could be a belt idler pulley. They'll make squeaking noises on occasion, especially when cold.

So million of years later will my 2005 Mustang GT FBO with a Paxton SL2200 keep up with..........

I originally had it dyno tuned, and it made 460/440 on a dynojet. I later had Lito tune it for both 93 and e85. I have no idea what its making now.

So million of years later will my 2005 Mustang GT FBO with a Paxton SL2200 keep up with..........

While I beleive this is true as well, especially at higher power levels, I've been beating mine like it owes me money every time I drive it for about 20k miles and its not skipped a beat. This is on a higher mileage car too; it had 139k when I installed the M122 blower.

So million of years later will my 2005 Mustang GT FBO with a Paxton SL2200 keep up with..........

You might be closer to 500 whp, but I'd be shocked if you're anywhere close to 530+. My car is similar, with the Detroit rocker SC cams, long tube headers, and a M122, it made 460hp/440tq to the wheels on 93. I think a centrifugal will usually make a few more ponies on the high end.

The 2009 Iacocca Mustang so beautiful wish they were more than 45 of them.

Glass roof is infinitely better than the aesthetics of that car.

That looks terrible. Looks very half baked to me.

    AEM wideband better o2 sensor?

I'm using an Autometer wideband. Haven't had a single problem out of it in over 18k miles of abuse.

    E85/E50

This is indeed the greatest disadvantage to E85. My car gets about 160 miles per tank on E85. I wish I had about a 20 gallon fuel cell in the trunk, then it wouldn't be so bad!

    E85/E50

If you are going to run ethanol at all, I'd run the E85 (or whatever the highest you can get). I don't see the point wasting your time with the other ratios.

    GT500 Lower Control Arms

They are indeed Koni yellows. I think I remember reading something about not using an impact them, but at least it doesnt pop now... What's the danger of using an impact on them? Breaking the strut rod?
