    Yeah, had a really good couple weeks. Got time to work on the car a little here and there (once I got the new harness in my hand it was running two days later). Got a nice chunk of a raise at work, wife did not leave my ass after she got the car receipts totaled up for the insurance policy...

    Yup. Ended up being ONE damn wire that was accidentally tied into the coil circuit that was only a ground in the start position. Freggin rediculous. It was a wire that went to my old trans and was no longer used. Made it a real mother to find and did not find it till I had the harness...

    I always do a warm up at high idle then cool down. Change oil and filter then hard pulls and hard decels. You can literally feel the motor loosen up once the rings break in. That is all done. I then stay off the highway and only do town driving till 500 miles to give everything else a chance...

    Can you still go back and o-ring the heads too? The BHJ tool is freggin expensive but that was the only way I was going to do it. My machinist refused to touch my block with the other tool. Only problem is then you have to trust that will do the trick. Probably best to just grab a new block...

    ahh fml Billy. Hope you can get the damn heads figured out. I ditched the idea about the o-rings after gtro mentioned he was at 3X psi and no problems with mls gaskets. Trade you lol

    If this is adjusted properly it will fit the Department of Boost kit with stock hood also. Those couple wrinkles on the filter can be straightened without any damage to the filter. Just take a large flat screwdriver and work them out from the inside of the filter. Done it many times

    Those are actually GT500 fuel rails that will bolt right on to the Department of Boost manifold. Yes they can be setup for return fuel system but will not bolt directly onto a 3v OEM style manifold. The mounting tabs are higher and wider than the GT rails. The DOB manifold accommodates both...
