    This. A lot of internet folklore on the subject but almost 0 evidence/first hand experience. And only a few of the kits have a true rear coil (fortune auto, griggs, cortex, etc). The GC, KW, BC, HR, etc kits all use an adjustable rear perch in the stock spring location

    Those are "remanufactured" not brand new from any ford dealer/distributer. And yes they are painted, but its simulated "brushed stainless"..its not just your standard silver spray. And I was just trying to help your sale from the lowballers who neglect color when comparing prices to the black...

    Unfortunately when it comes to suspension and stiffness/comfort, its really a wide range of what is acceptable and what is not. There are some guys on the other forum who complain about the stock brembo suspension being too stiff, but to me it felt like a big marshmallow.

    I contacted fortune auto already and they said they only make the 510 series and dreadnaughts for the S197, so entry price point is $1500 or so...or $1700 for the mullers, where you can get swift springs with custom rates.     I wont lie, part of the height adjustment want is for cosmetics, which is the main reason im entertaining it. Most of the full "coilover" kits for the S197 are also just an adjustable perch in the rear. The other option is the fortune auto kit, which is a full coilover in the rear.
