Do you have any pictures of the outside splitter mounts? I'm curious about where they're anchored. It didn't occur to me to ask until you posted the canard thread. :)

I did all of that work with the inserts removed. They're pretty easy to get out; it's a reverse-threaded 5mm allen on the bottom.
