Agree that you don't need to drop the driveshaft. Installed an MGW in my '07 over the winter and I found that simply loosening the transmission support gave me plenty of room. By the way, I love the way it shifts.

Maximum Motorsports, Ground Control Suspension and Vorshlag all offer a set of plates for your car. I've used the first two without any issue; no noise, do not slip, good range of adjustment. I don't have any experience with the Vorshlag plates, but they appear to be extremely well made.
