    Fan problems again

Did you ever install the DR3Z-8L603-A? I have a 2012 GT with the M-8C607-MSVT fan and wonder if it is compatible.

3k rpm rattle, valve, or other noise?

Check the ball flange connections at the H pipe. I have had them leak so that they "ticked" at idle. But have also had them silent at idle, and doing the exact thing you describe. When acceleration, I would hear a brief period, of what sounded like valve train clatter, between 3000-3250 RPM. I...

    '12 AC Clutch Fail?

    Perfect. Thank you!

    '12 AC Clutch Fail?

Can the pulley be coaxed off, or is a puller mandatory? It's just a tight slip fit right? New pulley does not need to be pressed on?

    '12 AC Clutch Fail?

Having never attempted the removal/install of a compressor belt on these engines, how much of a pain is it? Best methods for each? Also, how likely is it to coax the pulley off without a puller? Some are easier than others.

    '12 AC Clutch Fail?

The service manual says that each individual component can be replaced as needed. So long as there is not excessive grooving/wear in the other components. It is pretty clear on my system, that eventually the outer portion of the clutch shifted and closed the required air gap. With it now...

    '12 AC Clutch Fail?

Okay, finally got back in town and yanked the inner clutch portion. It is for sure toast. Rubber separating. I'm wondering whether replacing that alone would be a bad idea. I have the whole clutch pulley assembly, but obviously replacing everything will take longer. I popped the new clutch...

    '12 AC Clutch Fail?

I looked a little bit closer at it, and found that when I turn AC on, the outer portion of the compressor pulley begins to spin (marked in green), but it's the center section which rotated slowly then stopped (marked in red). Any ideas?

    '12 AC Clutch Fail?

Hi guys, How likely is it that the AC compressor clutch only fails? I was driving home yesterday slowly, AC was blowing cold. Then I heard kind of a "wooooooooooooooo" noise. I immediately turned off the stereo, still there. I thought it was something drive line, shifted into neutral, still...

    EPAS Terrible Shudder

Right there with you! My 2012 was built on 2-17-12, and I really want to replace the front CA bushings, but REALLY don't want to introduce EPAS "spaz mode" and be forced into a $1000 rack replacement. Any information on what dates have the sorted software would be much appreciated!

    Understeer problem after NT05 install

It sounds like many people do this, but to me it seems like you will have an assymetric vehicle dynamic with the bar set like that.

    Understeer problem after NT05 install

Yup. More grip = more force = more body roll and suspension deflection = changes in toe, more positive camber, etc

    tuners change throttle response?

Hey Bruce, What are you tuning with? I used to have a TwEECer on my '95, and really want that level of control on my '12. The consumer level tuners I've seen don't offer that, and the systems that do seem to be priced for purchase by a tuning shop. Sent from my HTCONE using Tapatalk 2

    Heat Extractor For 2011+

Hey guys, winter rolled around and cooling took a back seat! Hahaha It's getting warm again though. I was worried that after spending all the time and money to machine the top plate, it wouldn't fit the organic curved surface of the hood. I recently ordered a 3D printer, so I'll be able to...
