tire pressures for 295 rivals at autox

Cold pressure 28-29 cold. Only 1-2# more in front but a lot depends on mods and suspension setup. Also, depends on if u can really get them up to decent temps on the course.

BMR K member installed, paasenger side toed way out.

rivals Yes my rivals are ok and fixing to be used soon I hope. Almost finished rebuilding the car. These will make one more USCA event. USCA at Road America would have been the last for them if I hadn't smashed it up in the first session on track. They didn't get much use that weekend...

BMR K member installed, paasenger side toed way out.

Not for Drag race only!!! Kelly, as you know I run my car as hard as I can and love the road course the most. I start using you parts on my '05 stang and was in the low 11's with 60' time in 1.5x sec. It took a head on crash into the wall to actually break any of my BMR parts so I am very...

Kmember adjustment. I have the BMR Kmember and non adjustable Aarms on my car and I road race the car. There are some measurements you can do the check the squareness of the Kmember position. I take a measurement of the wheel base by putting tape measure on the back edge of the rear wheel rim...

    Optima Street Car Shootout qualifier

USCA is a Blast I competed in 2012 at Vegas and have been running some of the races this year. I was at TMS when Terry won and came in 13th. Went to Daytona next and thoroughly enjoyed running the roval at 155+ mph! 6 18 minute sessions! Lots of autocross on a cart track so it was tight and...

    Your cooling mods and results?

I also am trying the Mishimoto three row radiator and the GT500 slim radiator fan. I hope it will fill as mine is an Automatic so I have to deal with the tranny cooler in between the radiator and condenser. I had also added an additional OEM tranny cooler inline with the stock cooler but...

    Your cooling mods and results?

Took some photos but I changed the memory card out and now I can't find the card. I think it was in my cup holder during the collision with the wall at road America. The current condition of the heat exchanger is not so good either. It I find them I will post them otherwise I won't have...

    Your cooling mods and results?

I converted the Boss oil cooler to use a separate heat exchanger from an old supercharger kit I had. I mounted it in front of the condenser and it was doing much better at keeping the oil temps down and the radiator was not overtasked. I did have a two core afco radiator but was still having...

    Tire Pyrometer

Also, if temps are highest in the middle that is indication of too high a pressure. Your rears show indicate that. The fronts are not as obvious since camber can tweak the numbers on the edges.

    Tire Pyrometer

These are the tires I am running in the USCA events. BFG reps are at these events and recommend hot pressures around 36 psi and best temps at 180 degrees F. over 210 F and they get greasy. I start at 29 psi cold and have been getting temps in the 160s when checking after my runs in the pits...

    Vorshlag 2011 Mustang 5.0 GT - track/autocross/street Project

Terry was balls out on every event at TMS. It was a blast to compete in this event and highly recommend everyone to attend next year. There is something for every level of racer to enjoy. We had tons of track time so you really get your money's worth. I was thrilled to come in 13 overall...

Any thoughts on this Hotchkis K member brace?

I had a collapse also of the inner portion of car attachment points after a tire changing company jacked the car under the kmember attachment point on my 2005 mustang. I had BMR kmember on it at the time. After studying how to repair it I determined that the attachment point may be...

control arm failure at the track this weekend

Poe, That is good idea and wish I had thought to do it with mine just to be extra safe. Since I installed them though I am very confident they aren't coming out though as tight as they were. It is my own butt I have to protect so I do everything I can to be as safe as possible. Since I was...

control arm failure at the track this weekend

jauguarking, I installed the balljoints myself into the A-Arms and I can tell you they are much stronger pieces than the stock ball joints. Also, I will bet they would never come out of the A-arm either since it maxed my 20 ton press when I installed them. I actually had to ream the hole...

control arm failure at the track this weekend

This is what I did after seeing Steve's post. So far these have held up to 3 Auto Cross events and the Optima Ultimate Street Car Challenge and have exceeded 1.3G loads. I will be giving them a full evaluation this season and check them after each event.

Rear whine - is everyones like this with tru-trac

Just to throw one more piece to the puzzle. You said you supplied a new pinion bearing. The rear pinion bearing is different on the 2011 up. Which bearing did you supply? Front or rear. The rear is the new "high torque" bearing. If installing the old one with the same pinion depth shim that...

It was the first time I have been so it was quite overwhelming. I also was totally whipped when I arrived at 3am Monday morning and had to have my car setup between and 8am and 10am for Optima Challenge. There was so much to see and watch!! I thought it was totally amazing and of course...

control arm failure at the track this weekend

Even Ford OEM redesigned the A-ARMs. 2011 also comes with larger front brakes which increases the stress on the A-Arms. It appears Ford increased the curved section to increase its strength. I guess I will be adding some reinforcing to the BMR A-Arms I was fixing to install. Figures I...
