I have a suzuka too, currently mounted with planted side mounts, onto sparco sliders, on a sparco base. I'm 6' tall, 208 lbs. I *initially* had some super cool cobra angled side mounts.. similar to yours.... but I wasn't happy with them because they really didn't allow the seat to go very low...

Oh, putting the fourth tire in the spare well is a good idea, I'm glad you mentioned that. I've got MM camber plates, and I adjust them trackside. I put a piece of masking tape on the top of each plate so that I could put markings for different camber settings. It seems to work well enough.

Thanks for the advice. Can I do a 295 rival on 18x10 +43 wheel? Just to calibrate my own noob-ometer... I've done 8 track days in the last year, I solo at ECR and MSR, and am in the intermediate group at Apex and ECR. My best lap is a 1:31.5 at MSR on the 1.7 CCW. Am I still a full-on noob?

The price is certainly right on those hoosier tires... but I don't know enough about that particular tire to know how it will wear, what pressures to run, and if it's inappropriate for my skill level.

Those wheels aren't bad, thanks for the link. But they are a little more expensive than the SVE Drift 18x10 wheel and they are 4 lbs heavier. So I think I still prefer the Drifts.

Just a tip, if that video was from a gopro, it looks like spot metering is turned off. That's why it's difficult to see outside of the car.... the outside is too bright.
