JPC line lock and clutch line install

I finally finished up my JPC line lock and clutch line installation. I also removed the clutch helper spring while I was at it and completely flushed all of the old fluid out of the lines. Both parts were very easy to install. However, the stainless lines for the line lock had to be tweaked a...

    Line Lock Wiring

I just started my JPC line lock install this afternoon. I'm undecided on which way I'm going to wire the activation button on my JPC line lock too. I ordered a pistol grip coil cord as one option, but may just end up using a lighted rocker switch instead. I figured now would be a good time to...

    AEM 2013 Mustang transmission mount

Not sure. My dilemma is, I just installed new Cometic gaskets and v-band clamps on my header to x-pipe flanges (which cost me upwards of $80.00), when installed the Whiteline mount. The transmission mount is not as easy to access on my car as it is for others with different exhaust setups. It...

    Front control arm R&R

Those came out shortly after I bought and installed my Prothane bushings. IMO, the quality of the bushings in the Steeda control arms don't appear to be of equal quality to the Prothanes. FYI, I ended up spending $40.00 to have my buddy press and cut the factory bushings off of the arms. I also...

    Front control arm R&R

I installed a set of Steeda Prothane bushings on my '13 GT almost a year ago. Removing the stock bushings wasn't easy, but the end result was definitely worth it. http://i1351.photobucket.com/albums/p790/10HUTT/2013%20Mustang%20GT/image_zps2bb2a477.jpg...

    AEM 2013 Mustang transmission mount

This stuff cures really fast. After about 4 1/2 hours I was able to separate the mount from the jig. Here is what the finished product looks like. Front http://i1351.photobucket.com/albums/p790/10HUTT/image_zps0a7cac8d.jpg Rear...

    AEM 2013 Mustang transmission mount

Thanks! I just checked on the pour and it looks to be solidifying nicely. There is supposed to be a two day cure time, but I am going to give it a solid week just to be sure.

Poured the bushing this morning and everything went smoothly. http://i1351.photobucket.com/albums/p790/10HUTT/image_zps005acaac.jpg http://i1351.photobucket.com/albums/p790/10HUTT/image_zps2bd2e70b.jpg

    AEM 2013 Mustang transmission mount

Got the jig finished up today and had the surfaces of the aluminum portion of the mount fly-cut on the mill. Tomorrow I will pour the bushing. http://i1351.photobucket.com/albums/p790/10HUTT/image_zps518d86e3.jpg http://i1351.photobucket.com/albums/p790/10HUTT/image_zps95966539.jpg

    AEM 2013 Mustang transmission mount

Got the mount back from the powder coater today and started making the jig which I will use to align everything before pouring the bushing. I have done all I can do on my end for now. Next week I will stop by my buddy's shop and have him weld on the tabs to align the bottom piece, as well as a...

    AEM 2013 Mustang transmission mount

Due to the uncertainty as to when my Whiteline transmission bushing might arrive, I decided to modify my transmission mount and pour my own ployurethane bushing. Here is the procedure that I intend to follow for this mod: 1. Support the transmission with a jack. 2. Remove the four 17mm bolts...

Whiteline KDT928 MT82 Transmission Bushing Insert Tested. Reviews/Tips & Tricks

Did you shave any material off of the bushing tab? Are you running an aftermarket shifter and bracket too? Lastly, do you think modifying the bushing would make it much better?

Whiteline KDT928 MT82 Transmission Bushing Insert Tested. Reviews/Tips & Tricks

What site sponsors actually have the black colored bushings in stock right now? I have one on order already, but I am considering buying a second to modify.

Whiteline KDT928 MT82 Transmission Bushing Insert Tested. Reviews/Tips & Tricks

How many end users are installing the bushing from the front side of the transmission mount and how many are installing it from the rear? It appears that Vorslag is installing them from the rear and Whiteline from the front. I was just wondering if one way or the other affects the NVH?

NEW Nitrous Outlet Billet Bottle Valve

John, I received my replacement bottle with the new billet valve today. Man this thing really looks both trick and robust! I'm sure it will perform very well. Now to bug you again about the bottle bracket mounting plate for my dual nitrous bottle and NANO bottle holder. Have you guys gotten a...

    2013 GT nitrous install

You will definitely go 11's on tires. When I had my 04 Mach1 I was able to run 11.70's on the bottle making 388 rwhp and 527 rwtq on a 100 hp dry shot.

    2013 GT nitrous install

Very nice power and torque! Are you running a progressive setup? Will you please post some detailed pics of the bottle bracket mounting plate that you used? I am waiting for John at Nitrous Outlet to fabricate a mounting plate for me. In the meantime, I would still like to see how others are...

    issue again dang 11

No, I just unclipped the factory wiring harness from the transmission bellhousing and that provided more than enough slack. I would not recommend using o2 extensions with headers.
