    Agree, putting a pile of money to make a V6 into a V8 alone is a bad idea. Even swapping the tranny is not a money smart move. The car will still be an auto V6 VIN. It will be avoided by anyone looking to purchase in the future. Just too many chances for failure if it is not a factory heart...

    Yes I believe you have the one used in the BOSS for at least 2013. It should have a cloth ribbed insert. It is similar to the GT500, but the GT500 is supposed to be leather (probably vinyl). Don't know the part number of either.
