    Air oil separator

First off, you won't get any blow-by from the driver side valve cover. It only comes from the Passenger side. You do not need a three-way for that. All you will need is one on the passenger side. If you must, use a separate one on the driver side, but it will never get oil in it. These...

    O2 sensors/ Heaters not ready

I tuned my ECU, and ran 450+ miles and they were still not ready. It has to be a specific drive cycle. Turn the car ignition on, and wait 15 seconds. If the check engine light blinks, it's not ready. If it does not blink, then you may have a sensor related issue, or failure, wiring issue...

    NEED HELP: Tire Fitment Question!

Window Sticker says V6 Premium, but all there are, is Premium and Deluxe... I was surprised when I saw it didn't have ABS or TC. When I got the cluster replaced, all those lights were on; ABS, BRAKE, and TC. So, when they looked it over, they were like, huh, this doesn't have it... In the...

It doesn't, no ABS, which also means no Traction Control. Here is where the ABS pump should be, and as you can see from both pictures, it's not there...

    NEED HELP: Tire Fitment Question!

No, I have an '08, and it did not come with it. I did not remove any components, it didn't come with it. Also, pulling the ABS fuse on one with, would be the same thing. If I could add it, I would, just not sure on how easy or hard that would be. I have driven many rear wheel drive cars...

    SCT X3 FIRMWARE (3015)

I was told by the tuning companies, you should only update if your initial connection to the car and tune cannot be accomplished. When the tuners are updated, so are the calibration files and ECU IDs for later releases of ECUs. For the most part, they never actually update the tunes...

    NEED HELP: Tire Fitment Question!

Good for me though, I don't have ABS, thus don't have TC either. SO, I can use any rear larger to front smaller combination.

Parts Transfer 2006 to 2011/2012 GT

Plus, if you take some time and look, you can find a 11-14 GT for $13K-$16K. I can buy a '13 GT for $15k, just not in the market for one right now. I would not take on the task of a Coyote swap for what it would cost... I would rather pay that to be Ulrea Rare, and get a BARRA 195 I6...

Anyone here tried the Dorman steel replacement driveshaft?

I have been looking for one that I can replace the U-Joints while out of the car, then just swap. SE PA is too far anyway... I'd be going all the way across the state... If you're ever over towards the PGH area, I'll pick it up.

Anyone here tried the Dorman steel replacement driveshaft?

Yeah, but V6s are one piece, with the track bar, so that can't be 100% true using one with a GT with U-Joints if the V6 doesn't use CV joints at all. Side to side is road conditions, not so much load conditions. Yeah, the car squats a little, but also the pinion wants to climb the ring gear...

    Best lug nuts...

I keep a 1/2" drive pry-bar and socket instead of a lug-wrench. Though my factory tire iron is almost as long. I also have a 12V Kawasaki electric impact in my primary work vehicle, and plug kit. Man, that makes changing to the spare so easy and fast. Then I can stop at a sheetz, plug the...

Help me with Soft Brake Pedal after Upgrade

Not 100% true, but kind of... Once the calipers are full, it requires a tad more more volume to move 4 pistons -vs- two. However, the pedal travel should still be the same. IF what you said was true, then 4-piston braked cars equipped from the factory would need different pedal travel specs...

Anyone here tried the Dorman steel replacement driveshaft?

If not, it's only because it's not the right length. If you get a pinion flange, or an adapter plate, then it would work. The adapter plate bolts to the U-joint end, and sits inside the cup of the flange on the GT. Lay the 2-piece and V6 side by side; if they're the same length, then it...

Help me with Soft Brake Pedal after Upgrade

Mine did the same thing till I bled them by the triple pump and hold method. I had brakes, but it was soft, and almost to the floor, unless I did a quick 2nd pump, then it was more firm. After I replaced ALL the brackets and calipers, bled the system, it's awesome. However, beforehand, the...

Also, if you get an adjustable rear upper LCA, you can correct pinion angle.

Anyone here tried the Dorman steel replacement driveshaft?

That is the factory V6 AUTO or MANUAL shaft, there are no CV joints. Only the GTs have the two piece with the CV joints, manual or auto. You have to buy the correct shaft for your model. SO, if you have a GT, you should not have used the one piece without CV joints.

    Best lug nuts...

I never have galling or rust issues, and you WILL NOT if you always tighten them to spec. The reason they get stuck on, is when tire shops, or a local shop air-guns them on. I have never, EVER had a lug-nut I could not get off. When I get my car back from the shop, I will loosen them, and...

Anyone here tried the Dorman steel replacement driveshaft?

Dorman is kind'a cheap... They're my last resort if I can't find a part, and they have it... If you're gonna buy Dorman, you may as well buy a used one... Installation isn't difficult if you get it on a lift, or put the front on ramps, and the back on race-ramps to get the whole car up...

Yeah, no kidding.. Someone I know that works in a shop, if they were to replace them, they want $5.50 each. The dude keeps asking me if I want lug-nuts, and I keep saying; "Not at $5.00 a piece dude!" Yeah, he thinks his are made of gold.. McGard Chrome or Black Chrome - $9.29 McGard...

    Best lug nuts...

ALL cars that have the lugs with the metal jackets/covers suffer the same fate. My former Charger, same deal, but the driver sides always swell up first. The heat causes them to swell. Air tools scar them... Even with the Mustang, the driver side ones were swelled up. Then the rust keeps...

Typical S197 overheating problem. But... Need advice on work around.

AS these fans get older, the motors draw more and more current due to resistance. That is caused by dirt, or the motor going bad. To truly repair it, replace the fan with a brand new one, then fix the wiring. It did not happen till now, much much later right, not when new? Well, there's a...

    Inconsistent Brake Pedal feel/stopping

http://luxjo.supermotors.net/MUSTANG GT/BRAKES/BRAKE BLEEDING/20181003_165456.mp4 That vacuum method like you did, does not work for brakes. That's how you replace coolant in a motor, with a special canister that releases coolant in when you release the vacuum, but that will not work for...
