It’s a 10mm. I couldn’t get any of my sockets to fit so I just ground off the corner of the block just a weee bit and it came right off, no issues. I didn’t want to pull the timing cover off since we were doing everything from underneath and already had half of the car apart.

Huh, I never thought of that but that kinda makes sense since the suspension geometry changes ever so slightly as your wheels turn because of caster. My bushings all around have seem better days so that makes sense

I think the noise is coming from the steering rack itself. I was sitting in the car turning the wheels and my buddy was listening under the hood and it was coming directly from the middle of the car. Fucking great
