Good article regarding the S197 as a track car

You might want to consider giving the article a read. You'll find out that we had these components (on the Roush Performance BOSS 302R car that I raced) in the full-scale Lockheed Martin 150mph+ wind tunnel. They do work and are far more than cosmetic.

Good article regarding the S197 as a track car

Not really since it will make a car a couple seconds faster on most tracks and greatly improve tire wear, confidence, and stability.

Adjustable Panhard Bar recommendation- 2014 GT

Post a pic of the poke and tuck of the rear tires when you get a chance. An adjustable PHB will help but there must be something else going on. Those pedestals are hard to bend so I doubt its that.

Adjustable Panhard Bar recommendation- 2014 GT

What's your ride height? Pic of the car? I can't see how the left side can stick out when the furthest the axle can go to the left is when the PHB is parallel to the ground (where the stock PHB length will not cause it to stick out of the left side of the car).

Adjustable Panhard Bar recommendation- 2014 GT

Probably more info than what you're looking for. But Project "Budget 400whp S197 Track Car" uses a Steeda adjustable PHB: https://motoiq.com/project-budget-400whp-s197-mustang-track-car-part-6-going-through-the-suspension-with-steeda/ The adjustability is a pretty irrelevant and unnecessary...

Good article regarding the S197 as a track car

The 2005-2010 Roush 3rd link fits 2011-14 cars. That's what's in "Project Budget 400whp S197 Track Car" (which is a 2014). It's just a little shorter in length than the OEM 2011-14. The 2005-10 Roush 3rd link works great on all 2005-2014 cars with OEM and 1-pc AL (or CF) drive shafts. I've...

Good article regarding the S197 as a track car

It depends on what car you have. For Mustangs with manual transmissions: 3.31s were standard on 2011-2014 (S197) & 2015-2017 (S550) Mustang GTs. 3.73s were an option on 2011-2017 GTs and standard on the Track Pack, BOSS, Shelby, and Performance Pack Cars. 3.73s were standard on 2018+ Mustangs.

2011-present are all Getrag MT-82s but the gear ratios changed in 2018: 2011-2017: First Gear Ratio - 3.66 Second Gear Ratio - 2.43 Third Gear Ratio - 1.69 Fourth Gear Ratio - 1.31 Fifth Gear Ratio - 1.00 Sixth Gear Ratio - 0.65 2018+: First Gear Ratio - 3.237 Second Gear Ratio - 2.104 Third...

Good article regarding the S197 as a track car

Your 2018 has noticeably longer transmission ratios than pre-'15. To get the most accurate comparison as possible, you want to do an A-B dyno comparison under identical conditions. The dyno testing I have conducted tried to reduce as many variables as possible, and pulls were often done within...
