If you are keeping your house in VA< keep the car registered in VA and drive the car in California. Just get it retuned for 91 octane. There is no reason to register in in CA.

If you plan to do AutoX, skip the BMR springs and go with Steeda Sport springs. Also look into the Koni Yellow Sport struts/shocks or Tokiko adjustable struts/shocks instead of the STR.T's. With lowering the car, you may be better off getting camber plates instead of the GT500 strut mounts.

I had something similar happen to my 2005 GT after the battery died. The tach was way off. I took the cluster out, took off the cover, and removed the tach needle and reinstalled it so that it was at zero. I put everything back together. It worked fine after that.

If all you care about is the appearance of the rear calipers, then just pain the rear calipers and brackets with a brake caliper paint.

I had them int he past. They were the noisiest tire I've ever had on a vehicle. They made off road truck tires seem quiet.

I agree with this. On a dry road course, they will run similar lap times to the Pilot Sport Cups until they overheat. They are also great tires in the rain.

They might fit in the 17" wheels depending on the design of the wheel if you use the 12.6" rotor. I'm not sure of the 13.1" rotor.

I used a dark silver grey on my '08 GT's calipers. On my '05 Sonic Blue GT I used the Blue paint form G2 that has a slight purpleish tint to it in some light. If you want the calipers to stand out, use yellow.
