    Adding Cats To o/r H-Pipe?

On the welding question, it shouldn't be too bad. With my setup, I installed it to ensure proper location, then marked the parts and clamped them together. Took the clamped assembly to local welder and he was able to tack weld the parts, remove the clamps, and then weld the rest. Fit perfectly...

    Have you done this?

I use a 75 shot with my turbo and it works great.

    Adding Cats To o/r H-Pipe?

No, but I've welded aftermarket (high flow metallic) cats to an o/r x-pipe. Are you wondering how much the stock cats will quiet it down or how hard it will be to cut/align them for welding?

OR Mid-pipes/X that is easily to swap for stock H/Cats

Bassani makes some nice SS pipes. This part number allows you to install the high-flow metallic cats or no cats. When I installed this, it fit perfectly. I did not measure HP before and after though. http://www.bassani.com/part/46053 They also have a p/n that is labelled off-road, but I...

Removing the stock over the axle pipe?

Yes, you need the front up or you won't have the right angle to pull the pipe forward.

Removing the stock over the axle pipe?

Car is lowered 1.5" and I was still able to remove them while on jack stands. Put the car on stands as high as possible and let the rear down (I didn't have to unbolt or remove anything). The passenger side is the hardest. Take the front end and move it towards the ground and towards the driver...

Can you datalog to help diagnose the problem? My turbo was doing that before I had the tune fixed.

    STS Turbo

I have the STS kit with a mid muffler, but I don't see how you could keep the side exhaust. The turbo sits where the stock muffler was and the exit flange is right near the rear bumper, facing aft. You would need custom pipes with sharp bends in an already crowded area. I have not had any...

    Starting to wonder...

Also at 500 rwhp/10 psi for a year with no problems yet. I've turned it up to ~530 rwhp/~12 psi a few times, but don't keep it there long. Enjoy what you have and don't worry much - besides making sure you maintain it properly. Like previously said, you hear the worst and you don't hear about...

Need help with wiring for n2o

The Hella web site has 3 pages of relays. If we can match your relay with one of the part numbers on the site, then it gives us the pin arrangement. From there, we can figure out which wires are which. Does the relay have a part number or can you match it to one of the relays on this site...

Need help with wiring for n2o

When you remove the connector and look at the relay pins, do you see small numbers next to each pin? If not, is there a manufacturer's name on the relay? If not, is one of the 4 wires a smaller diameter than the others?

Need help with wiring for n2o

    - The two blue wires from the TPS switch go to the fuel and nitrous solenoids - The black wire from the TPS switch goes to ground - The white or gray wire goes to the car's TPS sensor - The red wire from the TPS switch goes to terminal 87 on the relay - Terminal 30 on the relay should be...

    wot switch

The WOT switch I have is Wilson Manifolds Pro-Flow (http://www.wilsonmanifolds.com/shop/index.php?l=product_detail&p=36). It doesn't set RPM limits, its only function is keep the nitrous from activating until the TPS sensor thinks it's at WOT. To program it: Ensure nitrous bottle is closed...

    wot switch

I was measuring the voltage at the gray/white wire on the TPS switch (front of engine on passenger side). It was 4.41V when the pedal was held completely to the floor. So the nitrous WOT switch was programmed to activate the nitrous at ~4.41V (none of the companies could tell me the tolerance on...

    wot switch

Mine never pulsed on a regular cycle, but would work intermittently. Zex technical hotline told me that the voltage at this location varies very slightly due to throttle body flutter, which can cause intermittent operation. They suggested that I sense the voltage at the pedal instead. Don't know...
