Maybe its the strut mount that is the problem. Measure the the strut mount and bushing thickness.

You do not compress the piston in the caliper. Put the tool on the piston and turn until it seats its self. The piston is a screw type.

Ok, It seems that both side of the pins will lock when parked. Then I'll drive on the highway at around 70-80 mph, the left or driver side unlocks and lifts up. You can see the hood lifting at speed. Then I'll slow down take a few turns and it's locked again. I'M SO CONFUSED!!

I have those on now with my stock hood. I'm taking them off with the Steeda hood.

I called them they said the same as you. Just wanted to know if anyone had the hood and didn't put the pins in. See what they think. I like a cleaner look to the body without them. I may just wait and see if I have any problems. Thanks
