Build date 11/10 Manual with, Intake, Tune, Full Exhaust. Only issues I have had is the tranny whines in 1-3 gears. Started whining when the speedo hit 3k miles. With the radio on you can't even hear the whine.

Understandable, but there was enough info in that thread that made me feel very comfortable running a tune on my 5.0 from a repeatable tuner.

The main two that I remember were Chris Rose and Jon Lund. There was a third but he just stated that the tunes were not the issue. Jon Lund seemed really pissed off when he made his post, stating that he rarely EVER makes a post on a forum, and was getting tired of the slander getting thrown...

I have seen 3 of the MAJOR tuners make a statement on another forum that their tunes are safe and are NOT causing the dreaded #8 explosion. As far as unknown entity tuners, those are the ones I would be worried about.

Installed my Cammer tune today as well, and I could not agree more with what Tom has stated. Awesome throttle response and performance, let alone that lumpy ass idle!!!:beer:

Well you are not gaining any performance from the cammed tune. It goes back to stock settings right off of idle. With after market cams the lobe seperation is built into the cams. The Lund tune uses the TI-VCT to give it a loppy idle and that it. Hense the fake cams.

For me, the cammed tune option would be enough for me to drop 200 on a tune. Even though it is a fake cam, there is nothing that sounds better than a cammed car setting at a stop light idling.

DUDE!!! I want your sound.... Are you running dumps or just like stock, out the back exit? It sounds like my old Fox body did with dumps before the axle. Also.. have you noticed anything bad with the Ghost Cam Tune and is it holding up well?

Have you tried taking the serpentine belt off to see if it would turn over?
