    IMO that's is a bad idea on ford's part. the long, deep bolts avoid block distortion. bolting onto the face of the block is to save money IMO. deleting squirters? cost savings, maybe a slightly lower volume oil pump.... sounds like ford gained hp from less drag.

    its simply oil in your intake manifold. the non-starting has a flash at the dealer. they all smoke at times from pooling oil in the intake manifold. get a catch can and it will totally stop. get a passsenger side can.

    lets face it. if you break it, stop when you see smoke. tow it home and replace the broken parts. piston, rings, head gasket, silicone, bearings. pull one head and fix it. gap the rings loose. .024 for the first, and .020 for the second and, .018 for the oil.

    well, your car will make 415ish rwhp with the shot on a safe tune. he's making 470ish rwhp. you weigh more. if he throws on a decent tire he runs 10's. id run the car and see, and add more of a shot to make up for it. you gotta get into the 10's if he uses tires and doesnt totally suck.
