Possible stock drive shaft or transmission noise

It's this. Use a touch more RPM on takeoff and it'll reduce it noticeably.

I just assumed by how much this fellow liked to brag about himself that it MUST be Shep.

Shep? Is that you? I got confused by all the me-monstering.

    1-piece driveshaft, a must mod

The Ford Performance instructions spec locktite on the driveshaft-to-transmission bolts as they are reused. The driveshaft-to-diff flange came with all new bolts, not threadlocker specified.

Oh I should have known that was coming! :321: LOL

    1-piece driveshaft, a must mod

You guys are talking like everyone should be installing driveshaft loops on their cars, regardless of usage. Do you all have driveshaft loops on your trucks? I think we're getting a little out of range here.

    1-piece driveshaft, a must mod

Interesting, although I wonder if that was specific to the DSS unit, for which I have seen more than a fair share of complaints. My stock driveshaft was noisy AF with the clunking during low speed shifting. It was embarassing at times.

    1-piece driveshaft, a must mod

I thought about it, but decided against it since I sold my slicks. I wouldn't think it would have any greater chance to do so than the stock one, but maybe I'm wrong?

    1-piece driveshaft, a must mod

I should have done this a long time ago. Not only is it less clunky, it's much smoother and quicker accelerating. I'm also getting better fuel mileage. If anyone is on the fence, do it. I used the Ford Performance one that has U-joints at both ends. I was able to get the old one out and new...

I didn't even think about using a brush! I need to try this soon. You guys all did a fantastic job. That rear assembly is an eyesore when you're underneath.

What have you done to your house today

My wife wanted a "dog yard" to let our Shiba Inu out into instead of having to tie her up to a run attached to the deck. I've got the front privacy fence part built, the back picket part built, lattice attached to the deck. Tonight I'll start on the other set of stairs off the deck to let her...

Any movie buffs or movie goers?

Hopefully they did a better job of setting things up and revealing what the engineers were than they did in Prometheus. I know it's supposed to be that way, but the "horror" aspect actually just annoys me. I'd rather see more pure sci-fi with background. I think it has an awesome idea.....but...

    Razorback's home buying experience

I'll look into that. The wood is worn, but not too bad and is still really solid. I want to seal it with something too, I just haven't looked.

    Razorback's home buying experience

Sorry for the lack of pics. I forget to take them. Every time. Anyway, the deck needs some cleaning. It's covered in algae and gets damn slick when it's wet out. I was thinking of buying some of the deck cleaner from Lowes and use a couple scrub brushes. Anyone have experience with that...

    More muffler help

See my above post. Inexpensive, muscle car sound. Part throttle cruise is perfect. It's heard, but not obnoxious (like straight through types). When you push down on the loud pedal, it's heard blocks away.

Sunday I installed LED, smartphone controllable can lights in our living room. Now I can set the mood from my phone. I also got the cat door installed in the laundry room door.

    More muffler help

I have Mac axle back and an off road H. I absolutely love the sound. It does drone around 2000 rpm, but I suffer through it because the rest of the time it sounds so freaking good. Cruising down the highway it sounds amazing. Bonus: The axle back was $375.
