Does anyone have the guide on how to upgrade the fuel pumps on a gt500 fuel hat? I cannot believe this but for some reason my pumps will not disconnect from the fuel hat. I removed the sleeve on the bottom, the base and bracket but it will not disconnect from the plastic piece that joins both...

it is easier to drop it from the bottom but yeah you can do it form the top. You do need a lvler/angler. There is no way to do it without that.

It is what the cap says but they are a lot of factors that come into play. Think about this: 99-00 mustangs required 5w-30 and then suddenly in 01+ they changed to 5w-20. Was there any change at all inside the engine other than CAFE standards coming into play? Also some relevant quotes...

I would not use 5w-20 on a 3v specially when both chief engineers have specifically said to not use a 20 weight on a 3v...

I just changed them. They were no where near as bad as yours structurally but yeah the material was flattened to like .01mm
