Recently my DRL Projector Headlights with led bars took a crap on me. What's everyone running and or suggest as a new headlights? Windshield is getting tinted so would like some bright ones. Apparently it's common for the 3 bar led to go bad.

I don't think you're even allowed front side window tint in NJ, let alone windshield tint.

Get some custom retrofits made. Hid or led. Everything on the market now sucks except maybe the vlands as far as output. I have morimoto d2s5.0’s in mine.

I have never heard of windshield tint being legal anywhere unless you have a medical reason for it. Side windows, at least here in Texas, just had a limit on how dark they could be.

Florida Tint Laws – 2025 Updated – Car Tinting Laws
Yes, windshield tint is legal in some states if it meets the state's regulations. For example, in Florida, non-reflective tint is allowed on the windshield above the manufacturer's AS-1 line. The AS-1 line is usually about five inches below the top of the windshield.

Here are some other window tint laws in Florida:

  • Front side windows must allow at least 28% of light in
  • Back side windows and rear window must allow at least 15% of light in

Some vehicles are exempt from Florida's window tint laws, including: Ambulances, Buses, Hearses, Limousines, and Vehicles owned by a church.

Many states also allow medical exemptions for people with light-sensitive medical conditions. To avoid legal issues, you should carry a doctor's note if you have a medical exemption.
