This week John D'Angelo dropped off his brand new, fully loaded 2013 Mustang GT for a Roush TVS 2300 supercharger kit. John hadnt had the car for more than 2 days before he came in to order the blower and Roush Performance Parts was able to get us the kit almost immediatley. So with just over 400 miles on the odometer we pulled the car into one of our installation bays and started. The kit installs just like it would on a 2011-2012 car so we were able to finish in our usual 12-13 hr time period for an install. He wanted us to add a short throw shifter so we went with the Steeda tri-ax along with their base bushing and black cue ball shifter knob handle. That as well looks great and fits awesome on the car. John had some new wheels and tires installed and used Nitto Drag radials out back, he was looing for some traction so I suggested a set of BMR relocation brackets for the lower control arms. These will help reduce wheel hop and plant the rear tires to the road!

The Supercharger got a 79mm blower pulley with shorter belt, this should yeild about 11-12 peak psi boost. We also opted to install a K&N panel filter, Ford Racing 0 Degree spark plugs gapped at .030" and use our own custom tuning to bring the car to max performance and safety levels. Currently the car is on the dyno and we are dialing it in. We plan to have it finished and Ill share the results on Monday. For now, here are some pictures to get you guys started!

Thanks,

You don't think something like at JLT or Steeda CAI would help with the air flow and power?

It would be right now there are issues with the idle quality after installation of those air kits. We want to make sure driveability is perfect before we release a tune and currently we are still working on that. With the stock air box the driveability is just like stock, actually better!
