You'd need to swap a lot more than just the motor and it isn't worth the effort and expense.
If you really want the 4.6 motor that badly, buy a clean low mileage '05-'10 GT and either sell your car or leave it as it is.

not a good move, more weight, same power and as Dino suggested, you'd have to swap in a lot of different parts (wiring harness, ECU, dash cluster jump to mind quickly)

You'll spend 5 times the cost of the engine to swap and almost certainly never finish the project.

Save yourself the headache, trade the 2014 and all the money you will spend and buy a 4.6 GT or even a 5.0 GT. They are getting down in price to be affordable.

At least the same, likely more. Engine swapping a V8 into a car that is available with a V8 never makes financial sense. It's a hard target to define as you can save in many places and spend a ton in many places.

If you want to through money away, send it to me instead. LOL!!

But the coyote swap is more feasable, as that engine did come in that year chassis. Should only really need an engine and pcm.

I think it can be done for $6000. Find a used/junkyard coyote that runs and needs nothing but an oil change and spark plugs.
Everything else you would have to get for the 4.6 as well. The only difference is the cost kf the engine.

Thread may be dead but let’s say I wanted to do this swap, I got a 3v 4.6 from the junkyard for 500$ I plan to build the motor and throw a pro charger on hoping to make around 650 wheel in the end, I know I know I could just buy a different car for the money but built over bought all day, I’ve always loved the 2014 body and the 3v engine, what all would I have to change to get it done, rear axle, diff, wiring, anything helps, I’m 18 and this would be my first engine rebuild/swap, I saw a video on YouTube going from 05-09 to a 2014 5.0 but that’s kinda working backwards… any advice other than telling my to just sell the v6 and buy another car… will be greatly appreciated!

Not to crush your dreams but you're looking at a lot more than just an engine. Trying to go from new to old is pretty much a no-go situation. Unless you're an engine builder/electronics wizard and have a complete 3v car to swap everything - dash/electronics/wiring/etc over chances of success are near nil. Even then several other systems of the later cars are not compatible with the older ECMs. Your best option is a Coyote upgrade but even then you're going to need extra parts and the right computers/subsystems. At 18 I hope you have plenty of friends w/knowledge & experience and at least $10k - $15k to pull it off. It's not as simple as buying a used engine and installing it. Don't throw your money away. Buy an 05 - 09 if that's what you want.

Unless you have tremendously good driving skills at the tender age of just 18, you must have a death wish if you want 650rwhp under your right foot. Good luck finding an insurance company to cover you as well!
