Well I got my second wheel in From AM yesterday. The open box deal ended up being a great deal. 2 brand new 20x10 wheels for a total of $266. Had a little drama along the way, but AM was great, customer service did a great job. Good thing I wasn’t in a hurry though.

I will be running a 20x10 square setup on this car. Now I need to decide what size and kind of tires I’ll be running. [emoji848]

I thought 10's were too wide for the front of S197's. Do they clear?

Never mind it is 11's that don't fit.

Anybody know what the procedure is to “Service Advance Trac”?

Electrical tape over the message center in the dash. Get the nice stuff or you’ll be fixing it again in a few weeks.

Really though, I have no idea.

You need to scan it and see what codes it's throwing. Could be anything from a wheel speed sensor, steering angle sensor, abs module, etc.

Agree, I haven’t had a lot of time to mess with the car to be honest. Just gathering intel here on the site for when I can. I have so many projects as it is, it’s hard to spend much time on any one. Plus my granddaughter’s car, and the list goes on!

Desolder the bulbs. If the lights came on the pump is trash. They arent rebuildable and not offered new. Mine will come on and then go back off in a few days. You can run a test on forscan to verify but most likely the pump is junk. Im going to order parts and remove the pump and associated lines and get rid of the it. Then remove the leds.

Thank you for that link. Interesting read.

This car has been in a “couple” of accidents in its history. When I did the car fax I was really surprised that almost every owner of this car crashed it. It’s been through no less than 3 auctions in as many states.

But it has a good platform and the engine is in great condition, so I’ll repair it and make a daily out of it.

I finally got to pull codes on it yesterday and it has 2 airbag codes and 3 abs codes, including:

(ABS) Power Supply
B11E8 - abs

Left Front Wheel speed sensor
C0031 - abs

Right Front Wheel speed sensor
C0034 - abs

This could easily be the issues with the advance trac. I’ve seen that the fuse attached at the battery cable could be part of the power issue.

More to come as I trouble shoot.

I checked the fuse on the battery. It’s good. Rules that out. If I can muster up the energy after while I’ll go put it on the lift and check the front wheel speed sensors.

Has anybody taken this bumper off of an 11-14? I took mine off on my 05, but it was just held on with the 4 bolts in each side. On this 14 it’s welded in 4 spots, 2 each side and bolted. What a pain in the ass!

This one is bent all to hell, so I’ll replace it. Maybe with tube, maybe stock. Haven’t decided yet.

I have watched a few videos since I posted this question. And apparently they are welded on as well as bolted on.

My 2010 is as you say. Welded in 4 spots and bolted in 4 places on each side. It’s also some interesting alloy steel. When mounting a pull hook I found that beam very difficult to drill.

It is very difficult to drill, but cuts like butter with a cut off wheel.

Replaced the rad. support and half ass straightened the bent right front fender. Just trying to get the panels to fit properly so I can put a new front bumper, cover and grill in.

Had bunch of bs spliced in to the wiring and broken wires around the front.

Anybody know what the wires in the pics go to? I think the pink/blue and the black/orange pair go to the side marker. I can’t figure out where the yellow and white/blue pair coming off the horn wire goes to.

Boy I wish this hood wasn’t so terrible. I really love the look. I don’t know what brand it is, but is a real pos! I’ve contemplated fixing it, but I don’t know if it’s even worth it.
The finish is not that big of a problem, just will take a lot of sanding and filling. But the biggest problem is lack of structure inside to hold its shape(see photos with level).

Any advice on how to fix would be appreciated. The actual inner layer of the hood is pretty rigid. I thought about some kind of fill like a spray foam or something, but not sure that’s a great idea.

Found this 2013 Vert that had been used for a donor. Got it for a decent price and it has most of the body parts I need for my 14. The good part is it’s black!
