500hp on 39lbs? Your fuel pump will die out and start to peak.

go with 60's!

39# injectors at 475-500 RWHP will reach full duty cycle or close enough to it to make you want to go bigger. When i say 500 I mean flywheel. We have used them over 500 RWHP but they are beyond what they should run at.

500 flywheel power so like 460ish but that still is peaking your fuel system. I'm sorry but everyone mustang I have seen peaks (not enough fuel) at 400ish with 39lbs.

All vortec kits come with 38 or 39's and thats the first thing they don't use because you can't get much more power out of them. Only way to make 38's any good is a busta pump, bigger MAF, and a good fuel rail system like CBR but you are still limited.

I am not doubting you have 500hp cars but i wouldn't trust that one bit.

Just my 2cents and from what I've seen for many years

Plus not to be a burden bro but....

Honestly i think your misunderstanding what im saying hear. 39 lb injectors arent all i suggest to make up to 500 hp. I tell everyone of my customers after 450 HP your fuel system is maxxed and need to upgrade to the GT500 fuel system. With that behind the injectors they can easily handle 480 HP on a daily diet. That power level will probably have the injectors around 85-90% duty cycle which i wouldnt run past that. 500 HP is a FAIR claim for these injectors to handle.

Im not sure about the injectors you have linked but I have never seen a 39 lb injector from ford racing that was black. If you look around the internet or with any SUPPORTING vendor these injectors sell around $350 or more.

Thank you for your input here but id rather not make this post a debate as i originally intended it to be a special for the members of S197forum.

At 499 at the wheels the tune had to be stopped with the 39lb injectors. I was running out of fuel. Now I have 60lb injectors and we go from there.

hey, i go by what I see and I see everyone junking 39lbs because they don't get what you want. With nitrous or n/a they are great! But anything after that I only see peaking.

And the price from buyfordracing. Thats the price they sell them. I worked for a local shop last year and we would order 05+ 39's from that site all day long at that price.

If you ordered them all day long they obviously "got your customers what they wanted"

glad you could add your insight to my thread.

Everyone sale is still on and will continue through the holidays till the new year!!

Thanks
