6R80 Damage. Help ID the Cause

Tore into my 6R80 (14 F150) to do Stage 2 clutches and a new TSS Intermediate shaft to prep for going turbo. Everything looks fine except for the pressure plate in the low clutches. These galls/spalls are consistent around the entire part and I have no idea where they may have come from. Any ideas? The magnet in the pan caught all the finely ground up parts...

Looks like a machining defect. Mine didnt look like that, nor have any in the vids ive watched that helped me do mine. Id replace it.
