6R80 Stand Alone Controller!!

They've been promising that setup for more than a year, looks like they're going to use their new TCM-2800 series controller.

I talked to a guy from Roush that was at SEMA and he said the PA guy told him the standalone controller would be available 'early next spring'.

I hope so cause I just roasted another clutch and don't really want to spend 2X the money over a 6R swap that a 4r100 would cost ,

Well, That would be late spring .. I'm really hoping an April/early May release.

I'm starting to think we'll see flying Unicorn's before we see a 6R controller.

I'm holding out for the Bauman version, LOL. I think they will be the goto like for the 4R70.

PA's 4R70 controller is made by Baumann, so I suspect the 6R80 controller will be too.

That's what a PA rep told me brother when he asked him directly at Carlisle a couple years ago.
