My 2011 GT auto trans. would:
1) Occasionally make the 2-1 downshift very late or roughly--esp. after rapid deceleration.
2) When coasting in drive at about 10 mph, then trying to accelerate, the engine would remain idling and the car would not accelerate, for up to 3 seconds while the trans. chose a gear to engage.
3) While coasting in drive at higher speeds, then starting to accelerate, there was a very rough engagement as the trans. took up slack in the drivetrain.
A few days ago, I phoned a top-reated local transmission repair shop. The owner recommended I disconnect the battery, then re-connect it after a minute to force the trans. software to reboot to default settings. Miracle! The 3 problems listed above are GONE!
