On the 05-09 models, is there a way to hook up a toggle switch to activate the A/C compressor manually without affecting normal A/C operation at the dashboard controls? In other words, is there a wire somewhere (perhaps the back of the A/C controls in the dash) that I can apply 12v power or a ground to and the compressor activate?
I'm considering a Killer Chiller install with a bypass for the heat exchanger that will run off a toggle switch. Would love for that same toggle to automatically activate the A/C compressor when the HE is bypassed and the killer chiller is the only means by which the intercooler is being cooled. That way, I preclude "user error" with anyone activating the bypass and failing to turn on the A/C … creating a high IAT situation.
I know there many who aren't KC fans, so not really looking to get into that argument. Still just looking at options and planning.
