I found these pictures that my great great uncle took when he was in the service of what was left of an airplane. From the rest of the pictures and descriptions the right wing was taken off by a tree.

I believe that is a C47 Dakota (DC-3). I think the tail has been smashed in making it look more raked-back / modern. The side windows make me think that. Were there any more details?

Not an aviation photo per se, but I thought you guys would like it. My wedding band is made from the titanium of an SR-71A exhaust nozzle, specifically that of 61-7972, which has some speed records.

I've been to EAA a couple of times just outside of Oshkosh, Wisconsin- GREAT air show

Was stationed in Germany from 88 to 93, so I was there when the wall came down.

Had tickets to the Ramstein Air show, but had to work at the last minute and didn't make it ... Big air show disaster and I would have been there .... Guess someone was watching over me ....
