Another picture. Very cheap for High Quality Stuff unless it's out of a Flex Fuel truck block.

The big problem with this is they feel heavy and lots of people say they get valve train noise at about 1000 miles. I know they have big discounts on them. Almost $8000 from MSRP of $40,000. I test drove one about a month ago. Actually two. One with and one without the track pak. They were $32,000 and $28,000 or so.

Just about every junkyard has one. It's their bible. Years ago, Trans Am 455 HOs were in every Grandville GM made.

It's called in the junkyard industry, The Hollander Index. 2018 Mustang GT 19 inch wheels will fit a Infinity Q50 and many other cars.

That book was the first to come up in a very quick search just now. The real smart computer guys on here I am sure can find more info. This seems plausible but could be hogwash! Details, details and who is not curious to find out.

It's called the Hollander Interchange. It defines what parts interchange (works/fits) between cars , not how a specfic car is manufactured.

and that would include parts interchange between Ford cars and trucks.

The most controversy is the L82 cam used in Corvettes and where else on the Chevy small block. So parts interchange is a very controversial subject. Another is the Magnum came on the Road Runner which may have had another life in the late 1950's

This is the first I've heard anything about "early-build'14" anything.
The story so far has been that late-build '14 GT's got '15 heads.
And some '14's, also late-build, were able to get the Track Key option programmed in.
That didn't mean "Boss ECU".
And it didn't mean "Boss longblock"

Mine (very late 14) has what appears to be a 15 casting on one side only, so I suspect that casting could be machined to flow like a 14 or a 15 and 14's were done to match the other 14 head.

Now it does appear I have a 2015 CAN module for my ABS, which makes it really annoying to use aftermarket, bi-directional scan tools to bleed.

Now your in the life of a Factory Parts Manager in charge of "Just in Time Parts". I had restored a 71 Challenger RT built in Nov 1970 that had 1970 seats. I ordered a set of seat covers for the 71 and when they arrived after a month, they were wrong. They didn't want to take them back even thought the company knew this but the sales lady on the phone did not. They felt I did not do enough research before I called. Never again.

Yeah. Ford still to this day doing some odd stuff, but more than likely you have a processor that is tuned just like any other std 5.0, no matter how is marked on the outside.

Yes, the only difference is the ECU is double path so it will take a track key and it can be used on a 2013 Boss. I am not sure you can take a 2012 GT ECU and use it on a 2013 Boss. If I read the Boss Rod Application right, they were also used on all 2017 GTs. Ford now calls them the Boss/Truck Rod and sells them for about $25 each.
