I have a set of AM wheels and do get a slight vibration/shimmy at about 50-70 mph. It is not there all the time and not with all wheels. (square setup) Anyway, my point is the AM wheels are not as "true" as stock or high dollar aftermarket wheels.

I would jack up the front and spin the wheels by hand and see if you can detect any runout.

I have EIGHT of the same AM 'deep dish' chrome bullitt rims as you show on posting #12.
ZERO vibration at 150 mph....on my 2010 auto. ( 2 - 18x9... 4 - 18x10.... 2 - 19x10)

BUT, you gotta get rid of those 4 x clips!!!!

(on a side note, if using 18x10's on the front, (275-40-18...or 285-40-18, I have tried both) with oem 12.4", 2 piston rotor's, a 3mm hubcentric spacer is required, I used a H+R brand).

Take the rotor retaining clips off and get some hub-centric rings.

Unfortunately, removing the retaining clips for the rotors didn't make a noticeable difference.

Believe it or not...two tire balances at NTB resulted in no improvement. Took the car to a local mechanic, he balanced the tires again. Low and behold, smooth as glass. All the way up to 115 mph. I'm shocked that a tire specialty shop was not able to balance brand new tires correctly.

Good deal! Maybe NTB needs to get their machine checked. I had a set of wheels and tires premounted and road force balanced from discount tire direct and had shaking problems, bad. I took it to my mechanic who uses a traditional balancer made by Snap On and they were smooth after that.

Take them off and i bet your vibration goes away. Most aftermarket wheels do not have provisions for the clips.

This is what I did about 10 yrs ago when I got my Nittos 5555from American Muscle...vibration went away. Also, Nittos are direction specific al tires...left and right. I inadvertently had them wrong on the front and had instant vibration above 40MPH. Went home, switched them out correctly and presto, problem gone.

So, last Saturday my rear end committed suicide...only 75K miles into life. Spider gears, ring and pinion all mangled. So, I sold it off...

Long considerations were taken, and I didn't get a Mustang this time around....but still part of the Ford family with this F150. My first brand new vehicle. Thank you all for your help and kindness!
