Changing the factory Interior LEDs in a 2005-2009 S197 Mustang (Guide)

After discovering how to do this on my own using the original version of this guide, I took the liberty of revamping it which includes higher quality images and a more in depth tear down. I don't take much credit in this guide as the original creator was someone by the name of "Deric D. Higgins". I've attached my version and his to the archive I made. In some instances like adding LED lighting to the factory shaker 500 stereo, you will have to use his guide as I do not have one to update the guide on. Things old junk to me. I will update the guide if I have made errors or new additions, so check back here and there. Hope this helps.

Been a hot minute, but discovered that the gauge cluster has a green film tint on the back of the face that is responsible for the color of the digital odometer portion. I reckon If I cut that film out of the face and replace it with my desired color tint from some arts and crafts store, I may have solved the digital odometer color problem. I'll be updating the guide in the near future.

Nah I haven't gotten around to it, I honestly need to. I just hide my odometer just to not see the nasty green hahah. I will surely do it soon though and update the guide as promised. Just need to make a trip to Michaels and find a similar red color to match the red LEDs I did in my car.

3M ElectroCut Film 1172C, Red. Transparent, acrylic film with pressure sensitive adhesive.
Most any sign shop that makes traffic signs should have it. They'll prolly give you a piece of extra.

Will surely keep that in mind; think your typical Autozone would have it or Ace?

Here's an update on the gauge faceplate with an alterative transparent colored film. Now matches my red LED interior set up. I'll be updating my guide very soon.

Seems to be working just fine on my end, not sure how else I could get it to work for you. I do however need to update this guide, what host would you prefer?
